Very excited to have worked on the legendary skin Arcane Brawler Vi for Arcane Season 2! Cannot express how happy I am to have contributed to League's collaboration with the television show's release of it's final season, and Vi's first legendary skin in League.

Arcane released a few months before I applied to Riot's internship, so it's extremely humbling to be here to work on a celebration of its finale. I hope our work can bring a piece of that masterpiece into the game for everyone who loved the show and Vi!

Shout out to Julian for his passion for Vi and concepts incorporating Vi's cage fighter look with her end of show look, as well as Megan's orthos, to create something unique that encapsulates her journey in the second season.

Some of my favorite nods are the Jinx and Vander motifs in her right gauntlet; with a functional knuckle plate the same as Vander's, and two chompers with paint iconic to Jinx. I found it very fun working out the construction of an open gauntlet, and being able to see all the mechanisms and her arm inside! On the other hand, the Atlas Gauntlet has the scarab-like wings and exhausts for the awesome in-game VFX smoke. While we worked to make sure the asymmetrical gauntlets didn't affect readability, I really resonated with the idea that she has two completely different gloves that reflect her time spent in both Zaun and Piltover during the show, and the love she has for both (Vander/Powder and Caitlyn).

Working on the mechanical aspects along with some new workflows made this a more complex process, but I really enjoyed collaborating with new folks throughout. I hope players are happy with the PBE pivot back towards her cage fighter look and the overall skin now that the show has concluded. Thank you Vi team for all the hard work!
